Families joined together on 5 different teams to complete 7 different challenges around town. Parents and kids alike had to find seashells, race through an ostacle course, carry weighted backpacks, tell stories and figure out clues to locate groceries throughout Shaws. It was an exhilarating time of teamwork, hardwork and competition but in the end Pastor's team won. Good job to all the teams, you completed the race much faster than I had anticipated. Afterwards we had a great time of food and fellowship. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped make this such a great event.

Trunk or Treat month is here. This year we are hoping to make it bigger and better than last year!  We have more themed cars, inflatables, pumpkin decorating, popcorn, apple cider, hot chocolate and more! And there will be a prize for the best decorated car!!

We need at least 30 theme-decorated cars!  We need lots of candy!! And we need people to volunteer to supervise an activity. If you would like to volunteer in any way fill out this form and let us know you want to be part of  Trunk or Treat 2009!

Led by Children's Ministry director Amy Wooten and joined by 2 other Churches from Cape Cod - teachers benefited from a day long of intensive training workshops and general sessions that enabled them to sharpen their skills as leaders and teachers. We had speakers from all over Massachusetts who came just for this event! Not only were the teachers able to gain more ideas and wisdom for their classroom but they also enjoyed a great time of networking with teachers from other churches. Thank you to all who participated!!
