Qualifications for Services: Varies based on program. HAC operates homeless shelters for adults and families, administers rental subsidies, offers education and training and develops new affordable housing. For Angel House in Hyannis, MA, the shelter works with families recovering from alcohol or other drug abuse. NOAH is another shelter for individuals in Barnstable County. The NOAH Services Center includes substance abuse counseling, mental health counseling, health care services, medical case management, legal clinics, housing search, HIV/AIDS prevention, educational services and job search assistance. The center provides outreach, advocacy and coordination of these services and related community resources. Please call for specifics.
