Specific programs are available for low-income people, people with disabilities, families, and those with special health care needs. Health services include: regular check-ups, treatment when you are sick or injured, prescriptions drugs, vision care, mental health or substance abuse treatment, and for some members, dental care.

Qualifications for Services: The MassHealth program is a government-assisted health insurance prorgam. It is administered as the Medicaid program in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and can help cover health insurance costs for low income individuals and the disabled.

Qualifications for Services: Commonwealth Care is a health insurance program for adults, 19 and older, who are uninsured and meet certain eligibility requirements.

Prescription Advantage of Massachusetts

Qualifications for Services: Prescription Advantage provides supplemental assistance, based on income, for its members with Medicare prescription drug coverage. Medicare is the primary drug insurance for Prescription Advantage members with Medicare. Prescription Advantage is a secondary payer.
