Fruits of the Holy Spirit (Peace) – God’s Peaceful Rest - Thursday, May 9th

I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid. John 14:27

Today's thoughts from today's verse:

Peace is rest. The world's peace focuses on removing or offsetting the painful, hurtful things that trouble us. God's peace focuses on bringing our hearts and minds to a place of rest while we are in the midst of difficult circumstances. What a great gift of peace has been bestowed on us through Christ.

Today's prayer response from today's thoughts:

Lord, transform the way I approach my troubles. Help me not to be so quick to bail out or compensate. Teach me to rest in you and enter into the quiet peace of your presence. Amen!

Hi! This is kind of off topic but I need some help from an established blog.
Is it difficult to set up your own blog? I'm not very techincal but
I can figure things out pretty fast. I'm thinking about making my own but
I'm not sure where to begin. Do you have any tips or suggestions?
