(Be sure to read the introduction that has been prepared for this week's Devotionals found on the spot below with the title, Sunday, June 28th. We usually put the message summary there. The message summary is a part of the Deep Six Study as well. So that is where it can be found this week by clicking on "Watch" and "Discussion Notes.")
Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord or of me His prisoner, but join with me in suffering for the gospel according to the power of God, who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity. 2 Timothy 1:8-9 (NASB)
The symbol here is a "phone" and it reminds us of the memorial occasion when we first understood and embraced God's "call" on our lives to live for the sake of the Gospel. A symbol of a "phone" beckons us to be renewed in our calling to live for the sake of the Gospel and to go further and deeper. For some the symbol of a "phone" presents to you the opportunity to respond to God and embrace for the first time his "call" for you to live for the sake of the Gospel.
Writing out a prayer response that captures how God is at work in your heart and life today can be a valuable experience. So, we leave the prayer response in your hands today.
